Iranian state media reported an oil tanker exploded on Sunday after striking a naval mine in the Strait of Hormuz. The tanker allegedly left Iran's designated shipping route before the incident, which comes as tensions between the US and Iran are heightened. No information is available yet on casualties, the vessel's identity, or the extent of the damage.
