Consumers may face significantly higher fuel costs as global energy markets and transport become unstable. Iran's Revolutionary Guards attacked vessels in Gulf waters on Wednesday, almost two weeks since war began with US and Israeli airstrikes. The International Energy Agency recommended a 400-million-barrel release from emergency oil supplies to stabilise prices.
