Iran War to Push Energy Bills Up £209 From July
Ordinary people will see their annual energy costs rise, with bills potentially nearing £2,000. Analysts forecast an annual increase of £209, starting in July, for the maximum charge on domestic energy, raising typical dual-fuel bills from £1,641 to approximately £1,850. A 13% quarterly increase is largely due to rising wholesale energy prices, a consequence of the Iran war.
