Iran War Pushes UK Household Energy Bills Toward £2,000
Millions of households will face higher energy bills, adding to living cost struggles across Great Britain. Energy consultancy Cornwall Insight now forecasts average household energy bills will hit £1,973 annually from July, a rise of £332 or around 20% more than the current cap. This is mainly driven by wholesale energy prices surging following the outbreak of the Iran war.
