Iran sets three hard demands in US talks

Oil shipping and regional security could be affected if negotiations fail. Over the weekend, signs of progress appeared in discussions between Tehran and Washington before Donald Trump said neither side should hurry towards an agreement, while the US later carried out strikes it described as self-defence. IRNA said Iran won't give up its nuclear facilities, wants oversight of the Strait of Hormuz and seeks access to funds in Qatar.
