Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, 86, has been killed in an Israeli airstrike on his Tehran compound, Iranian state media confirmed Saturday, hours after initially declaring him “safe and sound.” Trump announced the death on Truth Social, calling him “one of the most evil people in History.” Iran declared 40 days of national mourning.
