Sixty-four people have died after the Virgo Transport 8 ferry sank in Indonesia's Java Sea nearly two weeks ago, the national rescue agency said on Saturday. The ferry was carrying 243 people from Surabaya on Java to Banjarmasin on Borneo, and 108 have survived. Rescuers recovered 11 more bodies on Saturday and extended the search for the 71 still missing by a week.
