IMF warns Iran war could trigger global recession
The International Monetary Fund warned in a report that the disruption to oil markets caused by the Iran war could slow growth, fuel inflation and possibly trigger a global recession. Former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told Meet the Press NOW that talks were 'the only way' to end the conflict. Oil and gas prices have surged since the war began in late February.
