IMF raises UK growth forecast to one percent.

A continuing Middle East conflict could bring higher costs for energy and food to the UK economy. Despite this, the IMF has lately revised its UK economic growth forecast upwards for the current year. Following an economic expansion of 0.6% in the year's initial quarter, the prominent organization raised its 2026 growth prediction to 1%, an increase from its prior estimate of 0.8%.
