New blood test could spot Alzheimer's early
A new blood test might help find Alzheimer's disease many years before symptoms show, which could lead to earlier care. US researchers checked 1,350 people without dementia, finding 86 with high biomarkers also performed worse on memory and thinking tests. A study in The Lancet suggests the disease might start in midlife, even before clear signs appear.
