IDF strikes Tehran fuel sites: A war's first civilian energy target

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed on Saturday night that it struck multiple fuel storage complexes in Tehran, saying the sites were used by Iran's military forces to distribute fuel to various consumers. The IDF described it as a significant step in deepening damage to Iran's military infrastructure. Massive fires were visible across Tehran following the strikes. It was reported to be the first time civil energy facilities had been targeted in the war.
