Iranian drone hits Bahrain water plant, three injured

Iranian drone hits Bahrain water plant, three injured

An Iranian drone struck a water desalination plant in Bahrain on Sunday morning, causing material damage to the facility, which supplies drinking water to residents across the country. Bahrain's Ministry of Interior confirmed the attack and said three people were injured when missile debris fell near a university building in the Muharraq area. It was the first time in the nine-day conflict that an Arab Gulf state reported Iran directly striking a desalination plant. Bahrain's water authority said supplies were not disrupted.
