Spain train crash kills 39 injures 100 near Córdoba.
A high-speed train collision in southern Spain near Adamuz, Córdoba province, on Sunday evening resulted in at least 39 fatalities and over 100 injuries. The Iryo train, traveling from Málaga to Madrid, derailed and collided with an oncoming Renfe train heading from Madrid to Huelva. Approximately 500 passengers were involved. An investigation into the cause of the derailment is underway, as rescue operations continue. Train services between Madrid and cities in Andalusia are suspended.
