Gunman kills 6 at German shelter over custody dispute
A gunman shot and killed six people at a shelter for mothers and young children in the town of Stade in northern Germany on Monday. Police said the man had arrived for a meeting about custody of his three-month-old daughter, who was present with her mother but was not hurt. He was arrested after a short car chase, and police are treating the attack as a custody dispute.
