Teen charged in Weston-super-Mare girl's murder.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of nine-year-old Aria Thorpe in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. The girl was found dead with a single stab wound at a home on Lime Close in the Mead Vale area on Monday evening. Police arrested the teenager in nearby Worle shortly after the incident. The unnamed boy appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court on Wednesday and was remanded into youth detention ahead of a hearing at Bristol Crown Court on Friday.
