London Marathon expands to two days in 2027

For one year only, the London Marathon will run across two days in 2027, letting 100,000 people take part. Organisers said a record 1.33 million applied for next year's event, leading to the Saturday and Sunday race plan. This move aims to raise over £150m for charities and boost the UK economy by £400m.
