Humans Are Going to the Moon Right Now

The Artemis II crew fired their engine on Thursday night and are now on a four-day journey to the Moon, the first humans to leave Earth orbit since 1972. NASA says they will travel 252,021 miles from Earth, breaking the distance record set by Apollo 13. Commander Reid Wiseman called the mission 'a herculean effort' as the crew settles in for the trip.
