UK government introduces first V Levels for targeting future jobs
Young people will have clearer options to secure well-paid jobs, addressing skills gaps and economic growth. On March 10, 2026, the UK government revealed the first V Levels subjects as part of landmark post-16 education reforms. These qualifications, equivalent to an A level, will cover education, finance, and digital, starting in 2027.
