House Rejects Senate Deal, US Shutdown Continues

The US government partial shutdown continues after House Republicans rejected a Senate funding deal on Friday, instead passing their own eight-week DHS funding plan 213 to 203 votes. Over 50,000 TSA agents have worked without pay since mid-February, causing airport chaos. Trump ordered the administration to begin paying them by Monday, March 30.
