Campaign group the3million lodged High Court papers Friday after 1,500 EU citizens with pre-settled status were told their grants were an "error". Claimants say the Home Office stripped rights without appeal or proportionality protections required by the Brexit withdrawal agreement. Cases include a Brazilian-Italian engineer and an NHS PhD dentist. Officials cannot comment while proceedings continue, having previously lost a related IMA case in 2022.
