Hezbollah rejects new Israel-Lebanon ceasefire deal
A new US-backed ceasefire deal between Israel and Lebanon has been rejected by Hezbollah, making peace in the region uncertain for many. Hezbollah's leader, Naim Qassem, called the US-backed negotiations "futile" and "humiliating" for Lebanon, saying the group won't stop fighting. The deal included creating "pilot" security zones inside Lebanon where Hezbollah operatives would be banned from operating.
