UK lacks UFO reporting; MoD closed desk 2009; 20% unexplainable.
The UK currently has no official system to report or investigate UFO sightings, unlike the US where they're now taken seriously. The Ministry of Defence, which handled these reports, closed its dedicated desk in 2009 because of budget cuts. A former National Crime Agency officer campaigning for a new office says his independent group finds 20% of cases unexplainable.
