BBC axes Ashley Cain show over misogynistic posts
A documentary series featuring Ashley Cain, produced by the BBC, has been withdrawn following the emergence of past abusive remarks he made concerning women. The organization admitted its screening procedure "evidently failed" and has no intention of airing the upcoming series, titled "Ashley Cain: Into the Danger Zone." Cain, a former footballer, had reportedly called women "slags" and "bitches" in old tweets.
