Heathrow Runway Plan May Raise Flight Costs

Heathrow Runway Plan May Raise Flight Costs

Speaking to City AM, Alton Aviation director Ronan Murphy said fare increases are likely because Heathrow is expected to recover expansion spending through airline fees. The Civil Aviation Authority said Heathrow can reclaim up to £320m already spent on runway proposals, which it estimated at under 10p per passenger.
