Tuberculosis can be life-threatening, but is curable; increased public awareness and better treatment are needed. Harrow, in north-west London, has the capital's top active TB rate, with cases rising annually since 2019. 105 people were diagnosed yearly, on average, between 2023-2025. An action plan is expected early next year.
