Hampshire locals want more action on 'dangerous' noisy late-night driving
Hampshire residents report that drivers with noisy exhausts are treating their communities like "racetracks", frequently carrying on until the early morning. Since August 2024, almost 200 drivers have faced action, as authorities now possess enhanced capabilities to impound vehicles involved in antisocial behaviour. However, the Police and Crime Commissioner wants the government to approve noise monitoring technology so it can be used for fines.
