Hague Judges Go Public With Warrants for Taliban's Top Leader

The International Criminal Court has unsealed four arrest warrants for senior Taliban figures, including supreme leader Haibatullah Akhundzada and chief justice Abdul Hakim Haqqani. Judges say there are reasonable grounds to believe the men ordered gender-based persecution of women and girls, a crime against humanity. The other two named are Habibullah Agha and Neda Mohammad Nadim, and the alleged crimes stretch from 2021 into 2025.
