Grok 4.7 lands after two months of Musk teasing

Elon Musk's xAI released Grok 4.7 on Monday after teasing it since late July, with a larger base model at the same price as the version it replaces. xAI says the model's electrical engineering score jumped from 53% to 64%, and it is pitching Grok 4.7 at longer coding and office tasks. That figure comes from xAI's own testing, published alongside the launch.
