Government expects UK trade deal to survive Trump tariff hike

Donald Trump has increased the global tariff rate on US imports to 15 per cent, just days after the Supreme Court declared his previous levies unlawful. While the British Chambers of Commerce warned this move harms businesses, the UK government insists its privileged trading arrangement remains intact.
