Swiatek, Rybakina eliminated from Wimbledon in upsets
Defending champion Iga Swiatek and second seed Elena Rybakina were both knocked out of Wimbledon on Saturday in major upsets. Swiatek, a six-time Grand Slam winner, lost to Filipina Alexandra Eala, while 2022 champion Rybakina was beaten by Belgium's Elise Mertens. This means Aryna Sabalenka will remain the women's world number one.
