Police launch murder investigation into Ann Widdecombe's death
Police have launched a murder investigation into the death of former minister Ann Widdecombe, who was found with serious injuries at her home on Dartmoor in Devon. Devon and Cornwall Police said the inquiry is in its early stages but moving quickly, with detectives searching for a man they believe is responsible, and a cordon around the property. Officers appealed for anyone with information or camera footage from the Haytor area to come forward.
