Drunk passenger jailed after Ryanair landing aborted

A Ryanair pilot aborted a landing due to a passenger's disruptive behaviour, resulting in a 10-month prison sentence for the individual. Stephen Blofield, 61, became abusive towards Polish cabin crew and refused to fasten his seatbelt on a flight from Krakow to Bristol last November. Bristol Crown Court heard he had been drinking at the airport and continued on board, causing fear among fellow holidaymakers.
