Shabana Mahmood Warns After Henry Nowak Case

Public debate around the killing has led to threats, misinformation and concern about growing division. Speaking in parliament on 2 June, Shabana Mahmood said a wrongly identified police officer received death threats and moved home after online claims linked him to the case. Henry Nowak, 18, was killed in December 2025, and Vickrum Digwa, 23, was given a life sentence.
