American cannabis and drinks firm Tilray acquired BrewDog's UK and Irish assets for £33 million. This acquisition led to 484 job losses as 38 bars across the UK and Ireland will close. Tilray is also discussing a separate acquisition of BrewDog's American and Australian businesses. This agreement protects 733 other jobs.
