UK prices will stay high for months

UK consumers are warned that higher prices will likely persist over the summer and for many months to come. This is due to increased costs for UK companies from global shipping disruption, soaring energy, and raw material prices. Shop price inflation rose 1.2% year on year in May, with furniture and health and beauty products seeing the biggest increases.
