London Mayor blocks Met Police £50m Palantir deal
The Metropolitan Police could be compelled to reduce its officer headcount following the blocking of its £50m contract with US tech firm Palantir. London's Mayor, Sadiq Khan, terminated the deal, pointing to concerns regarding its cost-effectiveness and a blatant and grave contravention of purchasing guidelines.
