Fewer driving test swaps allowed to cut waiting times
Getting a driving test is now harder if you want to swap locations, as new rules aim to cut long waits. From June 9, learners can only switch their test to one of the three closest centres to their original booking. This change comes after 64,500 tests were missed last year, with average waits for a test over five months.
