Thomas Markle, 81, Finds Love With Nurse, 46
After years of anguish, Meghan Markle's 81-year-old father, Thomas Markle, has found joy and feels blessed again. He encountered Rio Canedo, a 46-year-old nurse from the Philippines, at a rehabilitation facility in Cebu during December of last year. Mr. Markle was recuperating following a perilous operation that necessitated the amputation of his left leg, and initially, Rio was unaware of his identity.
