Bournemouth plans £56 holiday tax for visitors
Families visiting Bournemouth could soon pay an extra £56 for a week's holiday, as the council wants to introduce a new tax on overnight stays. This money would help cover costs from anti-social behaviour and litter left by some beachgoers. The Lib Dem-run council needs government approval for the £2 per person, per night levy.
