French court case could delay UK-backed migrant centre

Legal opposition might postpone the construction of a new migrant reception facility in France, potentially jeopardizing a £660 million agreement designed to curb Channel crossings. The Home Office indicated that £160 million in financial support would be recalled should the arrangement not demonstrate effectiveness.
