Franco Manca shuts 16 UK restaurants today

Up to 225 jobs are impacted as a major UK restaurant chain closes outlets due to economic pressures. Franco Manca is shutting 16 of its 70 restaurants today, May 17, after its parent company Fulham Shore entered a Company Voluntary Arrangement. Bosses blamed high taxes and insufficient support for making the sites unsustainable.
