Australian PM Albanese marries Jodie Haydon in Canberra
Anthony Albanese, Australia's Prime Minister, wed Jodie Haydon on Saturday at The Lodge. Albanese is the first PM to marry while holding office. The couple's private ceremony included family and close friends. Haydon's niece, age five, acted as flower girl. Albanese's dog carried the ring. Albanese, 62, proposed to Haydon, 46, on Valentine's Day this year. They reportedly met in 2020 at a Melbourne dinner. Original wedding plans were delayed to avoid appearing extravagant before the 2025 election.
