Forty firefighters put out large grass fire at Birmingham park
A conflagration in the grassy areas of Woodgate Valley Country Park prompted the deployment of approximately 40 firefighters, with visible smoke plumes ascending. Eight fire engines were dispatched by West Midlands Fire Service to Highfield Lane, following significant scorching across an extensive grassy expanse. The cause of the blaze is currently unclear, but there were no reports of any injuries.
