EU Investigates X Over Grok AI's Sexual Deepfakes
The European Commission has launched an investigation into Elon Musk's X due to concerns that its Grok AI tool was used to generate sexualized images of real people. This follows a similar investigation by the UK's Ofcom. The EU is concerned about manipulated sexually explicit images being shown to users in the EU. Investigations into Grok are also underway in Australia, France, Germany, India, and Malaysia. X could be fined up to 6% of its global annual turnover if found in breach.
