Call the Midwife actress Molly Vevers hates blood on set
Molly Vevers, who plays Sister Catherine in Call the Midwife Season 15, told TV Insider that her worst challenge on set is filming medical and birth scenes because she is squeamish. She said she has to focus her mind away from fake blood and other realistic props. The show films most birth scenes using dummy babies, only bringing real infants in for the final few shots. Season 15 airs from 22 March 2026 on PBS.
