Father reprimanded for leaving 7-year-old son alone on Mount Fuji

Police reprimanded a 48-year-old father after he left his seven-year-old son alone on Mount Fuji for several hours on Thursday. The boy, who complained of being tired, was found sitting on a bench at over 2,000m (6,500ft) near the sixth station. His father continued climbing with his older son, later apologising for his "rash" decision.
