Facebook users locked out of accounts in global outage

Thousands of Facebook and Instagram users across the UK are reporting problems accessing the social media platforms today. Many people trying to log in were met with a message saying their account was temporarily unavailable. The global outage has left thousands unable to connect to their accounts.
