King Charles and Queen Camilla officially declare Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games open on July 23 at The Hydro. The King reads his personal message from the King’s Baton—500 days through 74 Commonwealth nations. Sir Chris Hoy headlining ceremony. Three thousand athletes competing across ten sports for two hundred fifteen gold medals. Glasgow hosts for the second time since 2014.
