Ex-FBI Analyst Claims Trump Pushed Bureau To Probe LA Protesters

A former FBI intelligence analyst alleges Donald Trump ordered the bureau to investigate Los Angeles protesters opposing his immigration crackdown. Jill Fields claims in a whistleblower complaint that a ten-agent squad was formed, partly pulled from cartel cases, despite colleagues judging the activity constitutionally protected. Senator Alex Padilla called the claims alarming. The White House dismissed them as false, saying violent rioting is not protected.
