Ex-defence minister admits giving MPs false information about nuclear veteran medical records
Roughly 22,000 service personnel participated in atomic trials between 1952 and 1967, and many subsequently suffered from cancer or blood diseases. Tobias Ellwood said officials at the Ministry of Defence wrongly told him in 2018 that no radiological blood test results existed.
